Edward W. (Ted) Claxton was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1979. His practice experience includes civil, criminal, matrimonial, and estate litigation matters. He has also represented clients in the Ontario Court of Appeal on both criminal and civil appeals. Mr. Claxton has taught litigation procedures for law clerks and secretaries for the Law Clerks Institute at Conestoga College. He is currently a part-time instructor in the Paralegal and Law Clerk programs offered at triOS College. A former Student Editor of the Ottawa Law Review, he has also acted as Compiling Editor for Carswell Legal Publications, Canadian Encyclopedia Digest, Ontario Court Practice Volume. Mr. Claxton is a member of The Law Society of Upper Canada and the Waterloo Law Association. He has published in the Osgoode Hall Law Journal and Chitty’s Law Journal. Mr. Claxton is active in leadership roles with North Waterloo Area of Scouts Canada.
